Trendafila Trendafilova won the Grand Prize "Orphan Wanderer" for the work "Attempt to balance"
The renovated "Sirak Skitnik" exhibition hall in Sliven opened its doors on Dimitrov Day, October 26, with the opening of the National Fine Art Exhibition "Sliven'2026" and an awarding ceremony for the distinguished authors. The mayor of the municipality, Stefan Radev, welcomed the artists and guests and officially opened the renovated space.
After a major renovation, carried out under a project funded by the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability, one of the city's iconic art halls once again welcomes the participants in the national exhibition. In the last two years, the event was held in the Stefan Kirov Drama Theater due to the renovation works. The renovation of the building provides better conditions for the presentation of art and an accessible environment for visitors.
Authors from different parts of the country participate in the National Exhibition "Sliven'2026" with works in the fields of painting, graphics, sculpture and unconventional forms of fine art.
The Orphan Wanderer Grand Prize for 2026 was awarded to Trendafila Trendafilova for the work "Attempt to balance".
