TOGETHER TO PRESERVE MACEDONIAN IDENTITY, FAITH AND TRADITION The Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archdiocese, Eparchy for Australia and New Zealand, is starting an initiative to deepen cooperation and strengthen ties with Macedonian cultural, sports and social organizations, which for decades have dedicatedly contributed to the preservation and affirmation of the Macedonian national, spiritual and cultural identity in Australia.

For that purpose, His Eminence, Metropolitan of Australia and New Zealand Mr. Nikola, will hold a series of meetings with representatives of Macedonian cultural and artistic societies, football clubs, community associations and other organizations in which Macedonians are actively involved, contributing to the nurturing and promotion of Macedonian tradition, language, culture and national identity.

The main goal of this initiative is the unification of the Macedonian community around common values, strengthening mutual cooperation and passing on the rich spiritual and cultural heritage to future generations.

The Macedonian Orthodox Church for centuries has been and remains the spiritual guardian of the Macedonian people, their faith, language, culture and tradition.
