Employees of the Russian Guard visited the temple on the Day of the Baptism of Rus'translated

July 28, 2028, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus', in the Church of St. St. Sergius of Radonezh in Novokuznetsk, a prayer service was held for the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir. Employees of the Directorate of the Russian Guard, OMON and SOBR “Mustag” prayed during the service.

The prayer service was performed by the head of the department for interaction with the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies and Cossacks of the Novokuznetsk diocese, Priest Timofey Gayibov.

After the service, Father Timofey talked with members of the Russian Guard about the events of the Baptism of Rus', the fateful choice of Saint Prince Vladimir, and the role of Orthodoxy in the history of our state. During the event, information materials provided by the Synodal Missionary Department of the Russian Orthodox Church were used.

The event became part of the work of the Department for Interaction with the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies and Cossacks of the Novokuznetsk Diocese of the Kuzbass Metropolis.
