The next meeting of the Synod of the Belarusian Exarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate took placetranslated

His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, on October 15, 2026, took part in a meeting of the Synod of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, held in the Minsk Diocesan Administration under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.

The Synod considered current issues in the life of the Belarusian Exarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate and made a number of decisions.

The journals of the meeting of the Synod of the Belarusian Exarchate, in accordance with the Statute of the Russian Orthodox Church (Article 8, Chapter XIII), will be published after their approval by His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus'.

Before the start of the meeting, in consideration of his hard work for the good of the Church of Christ and in connection with the 60th anniversary of his birth, the Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus awarded Archbishop Stefan of Gomel and Zhlobin with the Order of the Belarusian Orthodox Church of St. Righteous Sophia of Slutsk.
