On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in the Church of John the Baptist in the city of Kirov. The celebrations in honor of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom will be led by Metropolitan Mark of Vyatka and Slobodskaya.

After the Divine Liturgy, with the blessing of Metropolitan Mark of Vyatka and Slobodsk, a religious procession will take place to the Alexander Garden to the monument to the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia. The religious procession is dedicated to the day of remembrance of Saints Peter and Fevronia and the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The procession begins at 9.40 from the Church of John the Baptist in the city of Kirov.

We invite believers to pray together on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.

The Day of Remembrance of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom is celebrated by the Orthodox Church on the Sunday preceding September 19 and July 8, the day of their righteous death.

Showing us an example of an ideal married life, Christian love and devotion, Saints Peter and Fevronia are considered the patrons of the Orthodox family and marriage. Their memorial day coincides with a national holiday - the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.
