Solikamsk regents and choristers held a meeting dedicated to the future of the church musical heritagetranslated

Prikhody.ru 02.11.2026. The tradition of church singing was dedicated to the meeting in Berezniki (Perm region) as part of the X Feofanov Christmas educational readings of the Solikamsk diocese. The Berezniki Music School brought together those who connect their service and creativity with church singing - regents, choirmasters, teachers, as well as students of this educational institution.

As reported in the diocese's public service, the program turned out to be rich and diverse. There were presentations by honored workers of culture and education of the Perm region, which were actively discussed by the participants of the readings. In particular, questions were raised such as the role of church singing in the life of the parish - not only as part of the divine service, but also as a way of uniting the community; how church art can organically interact with the cultural environment of the parish, becoming a bridge between the church and society. Special attention was paid to the methodology of working with the choir: how to structure the rehearsal process, how to carefully develop voices and maintain harmony in sound.
