“Let’s preserve the unity of the peoples of Russia”: Metropolitan Evgeny took part in the plenary session of the scientific and practical conference “Interreligious dialogue in the Urals”translated

On October 12, 2026, the plenary session of the V Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Interreligious Dialogue in the Urals” took place in the multimedia park “Russia – My History”. Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy took part in the conference.

The conference brought together representatives of government authorities, traditional religious organizations, the scientific and educational community and public associations.

The overall goal of the meeting, as the organizers note, is a meaningful conversation about spiritual and moral education, state-confessional relations, interreligious cooperation, religious security and the preservation of civil harmony.

The work of the plenary session began with the performance of the Russian Anthem by all those present. Welcoming words were heard from the Deputy Governor of the region Vasily Valeryevich Kozlov, Director of the Department of Internal Policy Natalya Nikolaevna Gurchenok and religious figures.
