On August 10, the celebration of the patronal feast took place in the Church of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Krivtsy, 1st Bronnitsky deanery district. In the iconostasis of the church there is a contemporary icon from the beginning of the 18th century, painted by the outstanding icon painter priest Theodotus Ukhtomsky. The day before, an all-night vigil was served in the church. On the day of the holiday itself, in the morning a prayer service was performed with the singing of the canon of Hodegetria, after which a procession of the cross left the church to the holy spring, where a minor consecration of water was performed. Upon the return of the procession, the Divine Liturgy began, in the service of which the council of clergy of the 1st Bronnitsky district took part. At the end of the Liturgy, another religious procession took place around the church, according to the tradition of the patronal feast. At the end of the holiday, parishioners and guests of the parish were offered a meal in the courtyard of the church.
