Congratulations to Bishop Jonah. The part where the Patriarch spoke about the need to strengthen parish life in the villages really struck me — we have the same challenges here in our deanery. Praying that his new diocese sees good fruit from that focus.

We face the same thing in our Ottawa-area deanery — small congregations scattered across the countryside, with everyone driving in from farms.
