The glory of the church and the consecration of the parish house in Humtranslated

On Sunday 15 after Pentecost, when we celebrate the feast of the Assembly of Serbian Saints, on September 13, 2026, the glory of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hum was celebrated. The Holy Liturgy was served by the former archpriest-stavrophor Momčilo Pejičić, with the concelebration of the archpriest-stavrophor Vasilij Tomić and the responsible parish priest Boris Banduka. Looking forward to today's day, a large number of guests came to share this spiritual joy with the residents of this Trebinje village.

After the communion of the faithful and a three-time walk around the church, the baptismal bread and the cradle were consecrated.
After the end of the Holy Liturgy, the newly renovated parish house was consecrated. The renovation of the parish house began exactly three years ago, and the consecration of the restored Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary took place five years ago.
A cultural and artistic program was held in the courtyard next to the parish hall.
To all contributors and those who helped rebuild the parish house, on behalf of the locals, the members of the parish board expressed their thanks and gratitude, as well as for other upcoming projects and activities to improve the conditions for everyday life in the villages...
