Schoolchildren and students of Yekaterinburg will make a film about the Celestial Patroness of the citytranslated

Schoolchildren and students of Yekaterinburg will make a film about the heavenly patroness of the city. A short non-fiction film about St. Catherine of Alexandria, the Heavenly patroness of Yekaterinburg, will be filmed this fall in the Ural capital.
The project will be attended by the winners and prize-winners of the regional children's and youth essay and video competition “My City of St. Catherine” and students of the Faculty of Journalism Department of UrFU.
The filming location for the film will be the “cradle” of the Ural capital – the Historical Square and Cathedral Square, now called Labor Square.
The filming itself will be in the format of an excursion: together with Metropolitan Evgeniy of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, schoolchildren will visit places and attractions of the city that preserve the memory of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine of Alexandria and emphasize her connection with Yekaterinburg.
The organizers invite the winners and prize-winners of the regional children's and youth essay and video competition “My City of St. Catherine” of past years - 2021-2025 - to take part in the filming.
To do this, you need to fill out a form and come to the casting, which is scheduled for October 17, 2026 in the city center.
