St. Neagoe Basarab is the expression of the piety and obedience of the Romanians: the Calinic Archbishop of Argeș and Musceltranslated

Saint Neagoe Vodă Basarab and Saint Pious Platonida from Argeș were honored on Saturday at the new Archbishop's Cathedral, where His Holiness Father Calinic, Archbishop of Argeș and Muscel, officiated the Holy Liturgy and emphasized that "Saint Neagoe Vodă Basarab is the expression of the piety and obedience of Romanians".

His Eminence highlighted the mastery that Saint Neagoe Vodă Basarab had during his life through the gift of founding numerous places of worship for the Romanian people.

"Fantastic ruler, unique in the world, but unique because he lived only nine years as ruler and it was heard in the word read what a fantastic, divine understanding this man who was usually very lazy could have.
