On September 28, sisters of mercy of the diocesan sisterhood in the name of St. Blessed Andrew, the Wonderworker of Simbirsk, visited patients of the Ulyanovsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
Ekaterina Kupriyanova and Nadezhda Belyanina visit patients in the neurosurgical, neurological, surgical, thoracic, and maxillofacial surgery departments three times a month. The sisters of mercy responsible for this ministry know the needs of patients in specific wards, liaise with the medical staff and help organize visits from the priest. The sisters are regularly joined by parish volunteers and volunteers.
When visiting the wards, nurses provide all possible assistance to medical staff in caring for seriously ill patients.
