It is interesting that Patriarch Porfiriy directly spoke about how the name of Mladic will remain in the prayers of most Serbs. Our church also often commemorates those who are considered protectors, no matter what was written about them in The Hague. It is difficult to judge from our Lviv, but I see how many people came to the funeral - it speaks for itself.

Ratko Mladiћ died in The Hague prison, and thousands of people still took to the streets of Belgrade to say goodbye to him. Patriarch Porfiry said it right – his name will remain in the prayers of most Serbs. It is far from Vidikovac to us, but one can see that for them he was a defender and not just a defendant.
