Family gathering continues: prayer, work and time togethertranslated

The diocesan family gathering continues. The new days combined prayer, labor obediences, master classes, sports activities, a trip to shrines and a one-day hike.

Morning and evening begin with common prayer. Children also help in the daily life of the camp: cleaning the area, participating in cooking, setting the table and washing dishes.

The spiritual director of the meeting, Priest Alexander Asadchiy, talks with children and parents, participates in the general program, plays volleyball and other outdoor games with the children.

Master classes are held for participants. Ksenia Vladimirovna Nikonovich conducted a singing lesson, Elena Bogdanovich and Sofia Moiseenko - a dancing lesson. Representative of the Belarusian Red Cross Alina introduced children and adults to the basics of first aid. Matvey Nikonovich conducted a master class on making gaming swords, and Olga Ivanovna Afanasenko gave a master class on creating decorative flowers.

One of the events was a trip to the agricultural town of Novaya Guta. The participants prayed at a local church, where Priest Alexander Asadchy gave a tour and talked about the icons.
