The secretary of the Vyborg diocese performed a litany at the MotoPark of Peace memorialtranslated

On July 24, at the Paskhina field near Vyborg, as part of the international motorcycle festival “Baltic Rally,” a ceremony began for the construction of the second stage of the “MotoPark of the World” memorial complex. A column of participants of the patriotic motor rally “Immortal Motorized Regiment” arrived at the memorial.
The secretary of the Vyborg diocese, dean of the Vyborg district, Archpriest Igor Aksyonov, took part in the memorable event. Father Igor performed a funeral litany for the fallen soldiers and addressed those gathered with a pastoral word.
The start of construction of the second stage of the complex was given by the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko. On the same day, a monument to Yuri Vasilyevich Paskhin, the son of front-line soldier Vasily Paskhin, was unveiled on the Paskhin field.
The memorial complex “MotoPark of the World” was created in 2025 in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. On its territory, memorial steles were installed and 80 fir trees were planted as a symbol of life, peace and continuity of generations.
