SEEKING APPLICATIONS – Independent Director for The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago Foundation

The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago Foundation is conducting a search for a Greek Orthodox Christian interested in serving on its Board of Directors.

As an Independent Director you will be working with other respective Board members in managing the Foundation’s operations, which include fundraising, investment oversight and financial and accounting reporting. This position will also serve as the Treasurer of the organization and thus, preferred candidates will have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, audits, or knowledge and experience sufficient to serve as the organization’s Treasurer. The Treasurer supervises the Foundation’s outside bookkeeper, guides the preparation of the financial statements, and oversees the organization’s annual independent audit.

The term of this position runs from January 1, 2027-December 31, 2029.
