The headquarters of the Faculty of History in Bucharest was inaugurated after renovation at the opening of the academic yeartranslated

The University of Bucharest inaugurated the restored headquarters of the Faculty of History on Thursday, during the official opening ceremony of the 2026-2027 academic year.
After the works started in January 2023, the students and teaching staff returned to the faculty premises in the University Palace in Bucharest.
The opening ceremony was attended by Nicușor Dan, the President of Romania, Mihai Dimian, the interim Minister of Education and Research, Cseke Attila Zoltán, the interim Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, and prof. Marian Preda, rector of the University of Bucharest.
The President of Romania emphasized the role of the university and historical research in a society where public decisions must be based on knowledge.
