The church "Saint Neagoe-Vodă Basarab" from Vlădești, Argeș County, is preparing to celebrate its patron on September 25-26, 2026.

Protodeacon Cosma Giosanu, igumen of the holy settlement, announces the program and describes the stage of construction works.

Program for the consecration "We will start with Vespers at 17:00 in the evening, and at 19:00 we will begin the Vigil, which will be special, with two choirs, and it will last until around 01:00-01:30," says Father igumen.

"On the second day in the morning, from 8:00, we will celebrate Matins and Holy Liturgy. And at 16:00 we will perform the service for the departed, as is customary on Mount Athos. On Mount Athos, the service for the departed is always performed on the feast day, in the evening, during Vespers."
