Seven choral and folklore groups sang hymns dedicated to the Mother of God at a parish in the Republic of Moldovatranslated

Seven choral and folklore groups participated on Sunday in the Pricesne Festival "Maica Domnului - Joy of my soul", organized at the Church "Covering of the Mother of God" in Telita, Republic of Moldova.

The meeting brought together groups from the city of Anenii Noi and from the localities of Telita, Todirești, Cobusca Nouă, Șerpeni and Speia. The choir of priestesses from the Anenii Noi Archdiocese and a group of children from the Telita Parish also participated in the festival.

Rev. Andrei Apetrei, diocesan counselor, conveyed the message to Bishop Veniamin of South Bessarabia and thanked the clergy, believers and participating groups for their involvement.

Andrei Apetrei spoke about honoring the Mother of God during the fast dedicated to her Assumption.
