Interestingly, they used exactly the two violins that Mozart brought to Rome. The recording in the Vatican Radio studio must have turned out very warm and lively. It's a shame you can't listen to it right here.

Maybe those Mozart violins sounded very special in that old studio. Too bad there's no recording here, I'd love to hear how it goes live with the original instruments.

Yes, I'm really interested in how those Mozart violins sound after so many centuries. Recording in the old studio of the Vatican Radio must have given it a special color, as if it was getting closer to the time when he came to Rome.
