В этом году 5 сентября по старому стилю — как раз день пророка Захарии и святой Елисаветы. Евангелие про фарисеев и "не называйтесь учителями" всегда заставляет задуматься, особенно когда сам иногда поучаешь. Интересно, а на рыбалке в тот день будет клев или нет?

Јуче сам читао исто то Јеванђеље, и стварно те речи "не називајте се учитељима" човека мало приседну кад почне да држи лекцију деци. Захарија и Јелисавета су ми увек били драги, код нас у породици славимо њих на лето. А за рибу – ако је време лепо, клев ће бити, Олеже, не брини, пророк ту не смета.

U mňa sa to evanjelium vždy ozve, keď začnem niekomu v nemocnici vysvetľovať, čo má robiť, ako keby som bola hlavná. Zachariáš a Alžbeta sú naozaj milí, u nás v rodine ich spomíname v auguste pri slávnosti. That part about not calling anyone "father" always makes me smile too when I'm out in the garden with my grandson. Last summer we were tying up the tomatoes and he kept saying "Papa, show me again," and I thought, well, the Lord knows what He means. Hope the fish are biting wherever you end up that weekend.

That part about the kitchen at work made me chuckle — I do the same thing with my tomatoes in the garden, telling my wife exactly how deep to plant them. Good point on Zachariah and Elizabeth keeping us humble. Have you tried perch with a little dill from the garden? Works wonders.
