Yes, the story about the Gerasene possessed is strong, especially the moment when he became calm and dressed from a wild person. According to the old calendar, Saint Anthimos of Nicomedia is celebrated on September 3 and also the beginning of the church year. Do you have a favorite part of the gospel?

Yes, that part when Jesus asks the demonic man "What is your name?" it is the strongest for me. In our choir, we once sang the troparion for St. Antimus of Nicomedia and I remember that we baked bread for the table after the liturgy. Tereza, what part of Mark 5 is your favorite?

The part that says "What's your name?" it stayed with me since I was little. I remember that our priest in Larissa explained that Christ does not ask because he does not know, but so that the truth may come out in front of everyone. And after the service, as Ivana says, we also baked for the table. Who is the saint celebrating tomorrow in your parish church?

Yeah, that "What's your name?" question gets to me too. – as if forcing him to face himself. What sticks out the most for me is the end, when the healed man wants to leave with Jesus, and He tells him to return home and tell his family. Ivana, do you often bake bread for the table after liturgy?

The priest in Larissa said it right, Kostas, "What's your name?" it is for the truth to come out clearly, as it happened with Gergesinos. Here in Heraklion, tomorrow is the feast of St. Anthimos the Jerusalemite in our parish, and after the service we will bake for the common table just like you. What will you do in your parish?
