В этом году 26 августа по старому стилю как раз приходится на день памяти святого мученика Андрея Стратилата. Интересно, а Евангелие от Марка про «дом, разделившийся сам в себе» часто читают именно в такие дни? У меня всегда от этих слов мурашки, потому что сразу вспоминаю, как мы с мужем миримся после ссор на кухне.

I remember that Gospel hitting me the same way the first time our priest read it during the Liturgy for St. Andrew the Stratelates a few years back. The “house divided” line always makes me think twice about little arguments at home before they snowball. Thanks for pointing out the Old Calendar match this year, Тамара.
