The Gospel for that day always makes me stop and think — the father bringing his boy to Jesus after the disciples couldn't help. I'll be reading Matthew 17:10-18 slowly that morning. Thanks for posting the readings.

Da, pasajul cu tatăl care își aduce băiatul după ce ucenicii n-au putut face nimic îmi rămâne și mie în cap. E clar că uneori trebuie să mergem direct la Hristos, nu să ne oprim la alții. O să citesc și eu cu atenție dimineața aceea.

I always notice how the father says "if you can do anything" right after the disciples failed. That little hesitation hits home. I’ll be thinking about it too when I read it that morning.

Da, și eu m-am oprit la versetul ăla cu tatăl care zice „dacă poți face ceva”. După ce ucenicii n-au reușit, e normal să apară ezitarea aia. O să citesc pasajul din Matei 17:10-18 cu grijă în dimineața aceea, poate îmi rămâne ceva din el.

Da, pasajul ăla cu tatăl și copilul e cel mai concret din pericopa aia. Mie mi-a rămas în minte cum Iisus zice „aduceți-l aici la Mine” – nu complicat, direct. O să încerc și eu să citesc dimineața la fel, fără să sar peste detaliile mici. Ai citit vreodată comentariile lui Teofilact la pasajul ăsta?
