Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj celebrated the Holy Liturgy on Thursday at the patron saint of the "Saint Mary Magdalene" Monastery, which he founded in his native village - Oarta de Sus, Maramureș county.

The metropolitan father was accompanied by Vicar Bishop Samuel Bistrițeanul of the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj, and Vicar Bishop Timotei Sătmăreanul of the Diocese of Maramureș and Sătmar.

The council was also attended by: the diocesan adviser on mission and protocol issues of the Archdiocese of Cluj - archdeacon Claudiu Grama; the eparchial secretary of the Archdiocese of Cluj - priest Eugen Adrian Truța; archpriest of Dej - priest Ioan Buftea; the archdeacon of Chioar - priest Ciprian Coza; the abbot of the Oarta de Sus Monastery - hieromonk Efrem Gogea.
