Let us seek to increase in cultivating the love for Christ, which gives strength, strength and courage, urges Bishop Ignatiustranslated

"Let's seek to increase in cultivating the love for Christ, the one that gives strength, strength and courage", urged Bishop Ignatie al Husilor on Monday, in Chetrosu, branch of Corodești Parish, Vaslui county.

His Eminence officiated the Holy Liturgy for the feast of the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius, where he emphasized the value that confession of faith has in the Christian life.

"This faith, placed in the soul of the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius, gave him the extraordinary strength to testify in a world that did not love Christ, showed hostility and malice towards Christians and towards all those who in the depths of their hearts fully loved Christ".

"The faith he received from his parents, placed deep in his heart, gave him extraordinary strength to speak the truth in what he believed," the hierarch added.

In this sense, the Most Reverend Father Ignatius recalled the courage that the martyrs of the Church had and the love for the Savior, regardless of the trials they were subjected to: "When there is a genuine, deep love for Christ, we assimilate everything related to Him with great ease."
