From the memorial service the pamette was honored for the Holy Memorial of the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophytetranslated

On the 15th of October, when the 81st anniversary of the birth of the Bulgarian Patriarch and Sofia Metropolitan Neophytos began, on the grave, located in the south of the country on the capital Metropolitan Cathedral “St. Great Martyr Week”, a requiem service was celebrated in his memory.

This funeral service was performed by Negovo, His Grace, Metropolitan of Sofia and Patriarch of Bulgaria Daniil, in the service of the icon Kiril Didov and the icon Vasil Tanev, spiritual supervisor in the Sofia diocese, as well as the capital's confessor.

Prayerful participation of all Negovo Eminence of Varna and Velikopreslav Metropolitan Yoan, Dean of the Faculty of Theology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” prof. Dr. Ivaylo Naydenov and his deputies, teachers and students from the faculty, ministers at the Sofiyskata Metropolitan of Light and many pilgrims, came to honor the pametta of the Holy Patriarch Neophytos.

With the common prayer of the present, the reverence of the holy hierarch, the presenter of the petition for the repose of the soul, left a bright trace in the life of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and in the world of the Orthodox Christians.
