The head of the department of religious education of the Krasnoyarsk diocese gave a lecture for students of KSPUtranslated

October 22 at the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies of the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P. Astafiev hosted an educational event on the topic “Service and volunteering as a way to master moral values.” The guest of the meeting was the head of the department of religious education and catechesis of the Krasnoyarsk diocese, rector of the Krasnoyarsk Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, Archpriest Andrei Babin.

During the conversation, the participants discussed the spiritual and moral guidelines of modern Russian youth, their challenges, as well as the philosophical and ethical aspects of human life and the role of Christian educators. Father Andrei answered questions from students about personal experience, faith, spiritual growth, forgiveness and overcoming emotional distress.

Students also asked questions about professional topics, discussing how to find meaning in being a teacher and where to find strength for service. The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue, where everyone could ask questions about religion, faith and the structure of the Church.
