The Rostov-on-Don diocese took part in the IV International Congress of Regents and Singers of the Russian Orthodox Churchtranslated

On October 16–18, 2026, in the Hall of Church Councils of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the IV International Congress of Regents and Singers of the Russian Orthodox Church took place, in which the delegation of the Rostov-on-Don diocese took part.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Mercury of Rostov and Novocherkassk, representatives of the diocese joined the forum dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding composer, teacher and regent Alexander Dmitrievich Kastalsky.

The congress brought together more than 900 delegates from 155 dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as representatives of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Great Britain, the Philippines and Belgium. As part of the official delegation of the Rostov-on-Don diocese, the following participants took part in the work of the congress: Olga Stolyarova, regent of the Church of the Kazan Mother of God in the city of Rostov-on-Don; regent of the Church of the Great Martyr George the Victorious, Ksenia Kolodyazhnaya; Regent of the Main Church of the Southern Military District in honor of the Great Martyr St. George the Victorious Ekaterina Cherevko.…
