Rossony District Library celebrated its 100th anniversarytranslated

Such a significant date was celebrated solemnly and on a grand scale at the Rossony District Center for Culture and Folk Art. The hall gathered devoted readers, colleagues, friends and, of course, dear veterans of librarianship who devoted many years of their lives to this profession.
The warmest words were heard from the stage, and the best employees were given awards. The hosts of the anniversary event spoke about the achievements of the library, which is without a doubt one of the cultural and information centers of the village.
The rector of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord parish took part in this event. Rossony Archpriest Alexander Gordevich. In his welcoming speech, Father Alexander noted that good and business relations with the library staff have been maintained for many years. And during this time, within the walls of the book house, students of the city school, readers, and employees of this institution, at meetings with the clergy, discovered a world of spiritual knowledge, concepts and interests.
Any anniversary, especially this one, is unthinkable without gifts. Father Alexander presented the heroes of the day with a library of Orthodox books.
