The project "Minute History. A Thousand Years of Statehood" is carried out by the journal "Foma" together with the interregional organization of large families "Big Family".
In 60 videos, each one minute long, we tell about the most important people, events and cultural phenomena of a thousand years of Russian state history. The topics cover the time from the first settlements and Slavic tribal unions to the end of the 19th century, when the Crimean and Russo-Turkish wars were fought and Central Asia was being explored.
The content of the videos corresponds with paragraphs of school textbooks for grades 6-9: the chronology is preserved, and the program is taken into account.
The project is implemented with funds from the President's Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
