Romanian Ambassador to the United States Dan-Andrei Muraru Attends the 94th Annual Congress of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America

HOLLYWOOD, FL — On Friday, September 11, 2026, His Excellency Dan-Andrei Muraru, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the United States of America, and Mrs. Elena Gabriela Eremia, Consul General of Romania in Miami, attended events of the 94th Annual Congress of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America at the invitation of the Episcopate.

Upon their arrival at Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church in Hollywood, the distinguished guests were received by His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland, Auxiliary Bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America. They then venerated the holy relics of Saint Herman of Alaska, brought to South Florida on the occasion of this year’s Congress.

His Excellency Ambassador Muraru and Consul General Eremia also participated in the Congress Banquet held Friday evening at Holy Cross Parish, together with the hierarchs, clergy, lay delegates, faithful, and guests of the Episcopate.
