Representation of the "Religions for Peace Europe" organization at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christtranslated

The Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Tirana was visited by a delegation of the organization Religions for Peace Europe, within the framework of the Regional Forum and the Training of Teachers for the "Shared Sacred Flourishing" initiative. The delegation was warmly received by the Theophilus Bishop of Amantia, Mr. Ignatios, with whom he had the opportunity to discuss the role of religious communities in strengthening inter-religious dialogue, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.

Special mention was made of the long tradition of religious harmony and peaceful coexistence that characterizes Albania, as well as the contribution of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania to the cultivation of relationships of trust and cooperation between the different religious communities.

During the visit, the members of the delegation were informed about the history, spiritual heritage and contemporary life of the Orthodox Church in Albania.
