Gratitude and appreciation: IPS Casian officiated the pillar service for Father Nicu Moldoveanu, who was his teachertranslated
On Tuesday evening, Archbishop Cassian of Lower Danube officiated the service of the Pillars for Father Nicu Moldoveanu, former professor at the Church Music department of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Bucharest.
The hierarch thanked Father Patriarch Daniel for the blessing of praying for the soul of the one who was his teacher.
His Holiness Father Casian said that Father Nicu Moldoveanu was "one of the great teachers who brought us closer to God, those of us who seized the time when the concert of carols in the capital of Romania could only be heard under the baton of the professor of music and ritual from the University Theological Institute in Bucharest".
