The Rechitsa deanery prayerfully celebrated the Day of the Baptism of Rus' and the memory of the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimirtranslated

On July 28, the day when in 988 Prince Vladimir made Christianity the official state religion of Kievan Rus, the parish of the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir g.p. celebrated his patronal holiday. District of Rechitsa district.
The Divine Liturgy was led by the dean of the Rechitsa district, rector of the Holy Assumption Cathedral in the city of Rechitsa, Archpriest Alexey Peshko. The clergy of the Rechitsa deanery co-served with his reverence.
Church parishioners and pilgrims gathered to remember the day of the death of Prince Vladimir in 1015 and share the joy of the throne's celebration.
At the end of the Liturgy, the clergy and believers, while singing prayers, made a traditional festive religious procession around the temple. At the end of the celebration, Archpriest Alexey Peshko addressed the worshipers with a word of pastoral edification, congratulating the community on the temple holiday, wishing peace, spiritual strength and firm Orthodox faith.
