Five years is a nice number. I remember how Father Michal from the Kuban Metropolis told us about it three years ago when he was with us in Svidník. I wonder how many pilgrims from Slovakia have already gone to Kazanská that way.

Five years is a good time, the route has already been proven. Here in Novosibirsk we also love Kazanskaya; the church is always full for the holiday. I wonder exactly how many pilgrims from Slovakia have already gone, Zuzana is right in asking.

Five years is a solid run for any pilgrimage route. Nice that Father Michal mentioned it in Svidník three years back – our choir director’s sister lives near there and still talks about his visit. I wonder how many from Slovakia have actually made the trip to Kazan, like Zuzana asked.

Five years is a good stretch for a route like that. Our parish here in Denver has a few folks who went on the Kazan pilgrimage a couple years back and said the services were packed. Wonder if any from Slovakia have kept in touch with Father Michal since his stop in Svidník.

Five years does feel like a solid run for a pilgrimage route. The packed services in Kazan sound familiar—our group from Portland got squeezed into the back of the church during the all-night vigil and still didn't want to leave. Have you heard if Father Michal made it back to Svidník this year?

That's interesting about Father Michal's visit to Svidník. I didn't realize the connection ran that deep with your choir director's sister. Have you or anyone from your parish group ever joined one of these Kazan trips?
