PS Timotei Prahovean consecrated the chapel of a cemetery in the Capital: It has a special role because prayers are offered heretranslated

Vicar Bishop Timotei Prahoveanul of the Archdiocese of Bucharest consecrated the chapel of the Metalurgiei Cemetery in the Capital on Thursday, following the restoration works that have ended.
"It has a special role, because prayers are offered here, especially where the Holy Liturgy can be performed, but also memorials for the sleeping ones, because this is the most vivid way to show our gratitude to those who are no longer among us," said His Eminence about the building.
The hierarch emphasized the importance of a chapel as a place of commemoration and communion with the sleeping.
"If we do not raise prayers for the sleeping ones, in fact, we do not show full love towards them. The most important sign of our not forgetting and gratitude remains prayer."
"We hope that those who are mentioned at the Liturgy, as the priest says, placing in the Holy Chalice the names and the scents that remind us of them, are cleansed, are washed by the Blood of the One who sacrificed Himself for us", said His Eminence.
