PS Teofil Trotusanul: Christians are called to seek the encounter with the Risen Christtranslated

The Most Reverend Father Teofil Trotușanul, the Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău, on Wednesday urged the faithful of the "Holy Myronosița Maria Magdalena" Parish in Onești to seek the meeting with the Risen Christ.

Father bishop celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the parish church in the "Catholic Village" neighborhood of Onește, on the day of commemoration of the Holy Mironosița Maria Magdalena.

Prayers were offered for the departed founders, and many believers partook.

The Most Reverend Father Teofil Trotusanul spoke about the life of the Holy Myrrh Mary Magdalene and her meeting with Christ the Savior after the Resurrection: "The great gift and the great blessing that the Holy Myrrh Mary Magdalene received is that on the morning of the Resurrection she had the opportunity to meet Jesus in the garden of the tomb", the hierarch emphasized.

"The Gospel says that the Savior had cast seven demons out of her. So, she was under the control of evil, but the meeting with the Savior healed her, cleansed her and enlightened her. Later, we meet her on the roads of the Holy Land, listening to the Savior's preaching together with the fragrant women."
