Vicar Bishop Teofil Trotușanul of the Roman and Bacau Archdiocese re-consecrated on Sunday the "Holy Great Martyr Dimitrie and Holy Great Martyr Gheorghe" Church in Rogoaza, Bacău county, a century after its first consecration.

On this occasion, the hierarch emphasized the importance of taking up the cross and following Christ, stressing that "each of us is called to carry, in some way, a cross".

"If we do this carrying of the cross with the thought and eyes of the Lord Jesus, the Risen One, we will find that carrying this cross becomes easier and we find strength to go on," said His Eminence.
