His Eminence explained that the feast of the Council of Saint Gabriel recalls the work of angels in the economy of salvation.

"Every time God works in history for the salvation of men, He does this work through His angels. Angels are spiritual, incorporeal beings, meant to glorify God and serve Him for our salvation."

True joy Referring to the challenges of the contemporary world, the hierarch highlighted that true joy cannot be found in material possessions: "The world we live in seems to be more and more devoid of this true joy. People look for it in worldly wealth and success, and yet they do not find it. Archangel Gabriel reminds us that true joy begins when man receives God into his heart."
