PS Nichifor Botoșanean: The lives of the saints show the diligence they had in this lifetranslated

The Most Reverend Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Iasi, officiated the Holy Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Iasi on Tuesday, where he emphasized that "the lives of the saints show the diligence they had in this life, through which they sanctified themselves".

On the eve of the feast of St. Parascheva, His Eminence explained that the spiritual life involves an evaluation of the fruits gathered by each person, as the autumn season is a time of gathering fruits.

"The saying of our people, autumn counts the freshmen, shows, on the one hand, a joy, but also a judgment that man makes on himself: how fruitful was his work, how diligent he was during his life", said the Most Reverend Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul.
