The one who withdrew to know the Lord gathers the world to share with the world the true word of God fulfilled in her life," said the Most Reverend Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Iasi, about St. Parascheva, on Monday morning.

The hierarch celebrated the Holy Liturgy together with a council in which the Most Reverend Father Nectarie de Bogdania, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Chisinau, was a part, and spoke about the gospel of the day, in which the Savior Jesus Christ exhorts us to love our enemies.

"God teaches us that our gesture of faith to stop the circle of evil without multiplying evil is actually a union with God, Who calls us to bring out the good in each one of us," said Father Vicar Bishop.

"This contagion of evil the Lord commands us to stop in our lives and gives us strength."
