PS Nectarie de Bogdania consecrated the new bell tower of a parish on the border with Romaniatranslated

The Most Reverend Father Nectarie de Bogdania, the Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Chisinau, consecrated on Wednesday the new bell tower of the "Saint Hierarch Nicolae" Parish in Cetireni, a town in the Republic of Moldova on the border with Romania.

The Holy Liturgy was celebrated on the occasion of the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord according to the unrevised Julian calendar. The vicar bishop of the Archdiocese of Chisinau spoke about the Transfiguration of the Lord as a discovery of the divinity of the Savior and a call to renew life.

The hierarch reminded that the closeness to God is achieved through prayer, listening to the Gospel, repentance and caring for one's neighbor, evoking the exhortation given on Mount Tabor: "Listen to Him!".

Recognition of merit After the Holy Liturgy, His Holiness Father Nectarie de Bogdania officiated the consecration service of the new bell tower and the renovated fountain. The two works were carried out through the contribution of parishioners and benefactors, who provided work, materials and donations.

Good news from Cetireni! The new bell tower and the renovated fountain look beautiful, especially since the parishioners made them with their own hands and with donations. Congratulations to the priestess for the distinction, she fully deserves it.
