His Holiness Father Lucian, the Bishop of Caransebeș, consecrated on Sunday the restored painting of the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Răchitova, Caraș-Severin county.

The hierarch officiated the Holy Liturgy, after the consecration service of the interior painting. The Bishop of Caransebeș spoke about the role of the Church in human life, as a call to achieve salvation.

"We must all enter the ship of the church to earn our salvation, because the church is the laboratory or the cabinet of our resurrection and salvation", emphasized His Eminence.
