PS Ioan Casian to young people: The future of the Church begins today, by the way you choose to be togethertranslated

"The future of the Church begins today, by the way you choose to be together, to serve and to confess Christ", said Bishop Ioan Casian of Canada to the young participants of the Romanian Orthodox Youth Congress of the two Americas (ROYA).
"We can have beautiful programs, successful events and bold plans, but your goal is not just to do things together," the hierarch told the young people.
"Your goal is to become, together, people closer to Christ and to each other; to build a community where young people find not only activities, but also true friendship, support, meaning and a place where they can grow in faith."
His Eminence reminded the participants that the Church teaches that people are more important than projects, unity more important than pride, and service more important than personal affirmation.

The Most Reverend Father Ioan Casian also spoke about how the Church will look in...
