PS Iachinth of the Pacific: In a family where the name of God is spoken often, the angels are at hometranslated

"In a family where God's name is spoken gently and the name of God is spoken often, the angels are at home," Vicar Iachint de Pacific of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand emphasized on Sunday at the Radu Vodă Monastery.
Starting from the evangelical passage of the Resurrection of Jairus' daughter and from the significance of the feast of the Holy Archangels, the hierarch explained that Christian life, like family life, requires humility, faith and patience, but also the awareness of the presence of angels in man's path to salvation.
"In today's Gospel, great faith and great humility bring healing and resurrection, and Jairus and the sick woman are our teachers in humility and faith," said His Eminence.
Referring to the bond between parents and children, the vicar bishop explained how everything external loses its meaning in front of loved ones: "Jairus teaches us that when it comes to the life of our soul or the life of our loved ones, evil shame and pride remain at the door."
"Jairus did not send a servant; he ran to Christ himself for his daughter. Parents have a duty to pray every day for their children."
