"Let's avoid rushing to evaluate a fact or a person, because, on the one hand, we miss a lot, we don't know all of them," warned Bishop Vicar Damaschin Dorneanul of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuțil on Sunday.

His Eminence officiated the Holy Liturgy in the "Coverage of the Mother of God" Parish in Ilișești, Suceava county.

At the same time, the hierarch urged the faithful to avoid hasty judgments and to look at people with discernment and kindness: "Our eye is not pure, it is not clean, and through these lenses we cannot have the guarantee that we see well."

"If you see a good thing in your fellow man, rejoice, do not start from malice, from envy or from this smallness of soul, trying to give him a bad name just because you cannot...

It’s true, we judge too quickly. The other day at the bakery, a customer arrived late and I thought she was disorganized, even though she had just dropped her son off at the hospital for tests. The bishop is right, our eye is not pure. Thank you for this reminder.

Yes, that's exactly it. I too judged a mother at school because she always arrived out of breath, until the day I learned that she was managing her two children and her sick father alone. The bishop clearly said that our eye is not pure. Thank you Mathilde for this concrete example.
