On the eve of National Unity Day, the rector of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, Archpriest Vitaly Timchenko, visited the training base of the Military Engineering and Technical University (VITU), where he met with the young recruits of the military academy of logistics named after Army General A.V. Khrulev.

During the meeting, Father Vitaly spoke about the events of the Time of Troubles, the people's militia of 1612 and the historical circumstances associated with the establishment of the holiday.

At the end of the conversation, the servicemen were given information booklets dedicated to the holiday.
