Archpriest Viktor Peregudov took part in the regional “Dozhinki”translated

The traditional regional festival-fair “Dozhinki” was held in the agricultural town of Sivitsa, Volozhin district.

At the invitation of the district executive committee, the rector of the Church of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk in the urban village of Ivenets, Archpriest Viktor Peregudov, took part in the festival along with parishioners.

During the festival-fair, meetings were held with representatives of local authorities.

The priest addressed words of gratitude to the veterans of the agro-industrial complex and a parting speech to the youth, blessed the participants of the festival-fair and thanked them for their dedicated work.

Good that Father Victor went there and talked to the veterans and the youth. Working in the fields is not easy at all, especially now. I think his blessing mattered to many.

It's good that Father Victor went and blessed those who have been trembling in the fields all year. The veterans really deserve thanks, and the young ones need such guidance so they don't run off the ground. Our Ivenets parishioners have apparently joined in nicely.

It is good that Father Viktor went to Sivica and addressed the veterans in particular. They really spend their whole lives in the field, I know how it looks here in Montenegro. And the young men really needed that blessing and word, so that they don't run away to the city as soon as they finish school.
